Zelma L. Throckmorton

Zelma L. Throckmorton age 83, of Marion, died at Marion General Hospital under the care of Ohio Health Hospice on Thursday August 16, 2018.
She was born on September 9, 1934 to the late Henry Donald and Opal (Carter) Heller. She is survived by her children Rea Colby, Marion, Wayne Throckmorton, Portsmouth, Jeff Throckmorton, Marion and 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Mark Throckmorton, her daughters Ruth Andrews and Pamela Hodges and 2 brothers.
Zelma was a welder at Marion Power Shovel, owner and operator of the Old Brick Store in Marion and cleaned for several doctor's offices in Marion as well. She was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed painting and playing BINGO.
