Zachary K LaDoucer

Zachary K. LaDoucer, 36, of Marion passed away on Friday July 5, 2024, at Marion General Hospital following a four- month battle with cancer and heart failure. Zach was born February 26, 1988, in Marion and is survived by his mother Angela (LaDoucer) Healea, stepfather Michael Healea, and father Robert Persinger Sr., all of Marion. In addition to his parents, he is survived by children Stella Christine and Arlo Bruce LaDoucer; brothers RJ Persinger Jr. and Derek (Ashley) Persinger both of Marion; sister Maggie Clancy of New York; nieces and nephews Maddie, Max, Robbie, Cayden, Jacob, Kinsley, McKenna, and Gunnar; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and friends. Zach was preceded in death recently by his best friend, his dog “Tiva”.

Zachary graduated from Marion Harding High School in 2006 and was a painter, an amateur Chef, and talented musician. Zach was an old soul who loved music and playing his guitar. He was in numerous bands throughout the last 20 years. He was a Hippie at heart and loved to hang out and jam with his friends. Zach loved his family, especially his 2 babies and his nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday July 14, 2024, from 2:00 pm until ? at Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen (former Warehouse), 320 W. Center St. Marion. 

In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by the family. Zach being Zach, he would just want us to celebrate his life with friends and family. So please come and share a story, or a picture; he would really love that.
