William Somerlot

William Somerlot, age 67 of Mt. Gilead, OH passed away August 3, 2023, at home. He was born December 1, 1955, to the late Alvin C Somerlot and Mildred Y Davis in Marion, OH.
William is survived by sons: William Somerlot and Jason Somerlot,, stepchildren: Laney, Becky, Riley, and Koda, grandchild Alayna Somerlot, siblings: Allen (Brenda) Somerlot of Georgia, Keith (Kay) Somerlot of Mansfield, OH, Kenny (Sue) Somerlot of Fulton, OH, Lewis Somerlot of Montana, Judy Stockdale of Arizona, and Cathy (Steve) Brake of Cardington, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Amanda Somerlot, and siblings: Fred Somerlot, Yvonne Jividen, and Clara Black.
William worked as a specialty welder, notably welding rollercoaster framework as well as the goal post for the Columbus Crew Stadium. He enjoyed fishing and socializing with friends and family and was designated the great protector of his nieces and nephews (and the whole family!). William will be greatly missed.
