William Allen Simmers, age 48 of Prospect, Ohio passed away Oct. 15, 2022. He was born Aug. 3, 1974, to the late William A Simmers and Karen Simmers in Marion, Ohio.
William is survived by his daughter Paige Simmers, Paige’s Mother Billie Jo, Simmers, and 2 sisters: Angie Hatfield (Chris) and Barb Fisher (Alan). He was preceded in death by his parents.
William was a 1993 graduate from River Valley High School and earned a trade certificate at Tri-Rivers Career Center his junior and senior year in Auto Body and Auto Mechanics. He enjoyed working on vehicles and said every car he worked on had been “Simmerized”.
William enjoyed being involved with the American Legions in Prospect and Marion and he was a former member of AMVETS.
A special memory Paige will always have with her Dad is sitting around playing music, specifically a song by Johnny Cash, “Folsom Prison Blues”.
William loved car shows, especially low-rider shows. He was friendly, loved to talk with people, had a good sense of humor, and really cared for others. He will be greatly missed.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday Oct. 29, 2022, at 11:00 am at Claridon Cemetery, 5001 Marion-Mt. Gilead Rd. Caledonia, Ohio 43314. A Celebration of Life is planned following the Graveside Service at Waldo Sportsmans Club, 667-, 871 Waldo-Western Rd. Prospect, Ohio 43342.
