William M Gattshall

William “Bill” M Gattshall, age 73 of Marion, OH passed away Oct. 18, 2023, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born Oct. 22, 1949, to the late Lewis and Mildred Gattshall in Marion. Bill was married to Joan “Joni” Fown Gattshall Sept. 4, 1998, who survives.
Bill is survived by his wife, sons: Wayne Gattshall, James (Sherry) Gattshall, and Todd Gattshall, daughters: Viva Gattshall and Chasiney Weaver, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Robert Gattshall, and sister Eileen Elasser. He was preceded in death by his parents, son William Gattshall, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Bill retired from Quaker Oats as a tow motor operator. He enjoyed racing cars in his younger years, was the owner of Jiffy Shine, and worked at Raceway Mini Mart in La Rue, OH. Bill enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, car-detailing, and mowing/taking care of his yard.
