William E "Bill" Adams

William E. "Bill" Adams, 73 of Marion passed away on Monday December 11, 2017 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Bill was born June 30, 1944 in Marion, OH to the late Otto and Donna (Sessler) Adams. He was married March 1, 1968 to Barbara (Bock) Adams who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Brenda Darling and sister-in-law Sally Adams.
Bill is also survived by daughter Michelle Adams of Marion; brothers Jim Adams of Marion, Steve (Marsha) Adams of Marion, John (Jennifer) Adams of Nevada, and Doug Adams of W. Virginia; as well as nieces and nephews.
Bill was involved for many years in thoroughbred horses, construction, and sales. Bill was a beloved father and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He never knew a stranger. He could talk to anyone and fill a room with laughter as quick as he entered it. He had a passion for horses and horse racing that was uncontested. He loved his little dog Willy and they went everywhere together. He was a friend to the Amish Community. He had a huge heart and compassion for his fellow man and will be greatly missed.
