Wayne William "Bill" Lute

Wayne William “Bill” Lute age 77 of Prospect, OH passed at Marion General Hospital on Oct. 17, 2021. He was born July 28, 1944 in Portsmouth to Archie and Louise (Carver) Lute. Bill married Catherine Mayse in Clintwood, VA on August 15, 1981.
Bill is survived by his wife Catherine of Prospect , daughters Carmella (Lute) Pifer of Kenton, Sherri (Lee) Ward of Kenton, sons Michael (Verna) Lute of Howard, Frank Howard of West Portsmouth, 18 grandchidlren, 16 great grandchildren, brother Charles Lute and son-in-law Adam Crabtree. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Wayne William Lute, daughter Dawn Crabtree, brothers Fred Lute, Marvin Lute, James Lute, sisters Martina Yelley, Alma Jean Crabtree, Donna Kay Stiltner.
Bill worked for Con Agra Foods in the maintenance Dept. and for Marion Power Shovel as a machinist. He was a member of the Shawnee Boat Club in Portsmouth and the Triangle Motorcycle Club. For hobbies he enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles and sprint car racing. Bill adored his grandchildren and they completed life’s circle of love.
