Wanda J. Wertz age 74 of Ridgeway, OH died at her daughters home on Saturday Dec. 8, 2018 at 11:00 am. She was born August 18, 1944 in Hardin County to Kirby and Margaret (Bowman) Fay. She married Edward Allen Wertz on May 24, 1962 and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children Edward (Linda) Hertz of Camden, AR, Jane Richardson her husband Dave Loverde of Kenton, OH, Marilyn Bolling of Mt. Victory, OH, 8 grandchildren Ben (Bre) Richardson, Brittany Richardson, Scotty Richardson, Roy Bolling II, Jeffrey Bolling, Tyler Bolling, Chassidy Wertz, Kristy Wertz, 8 great grandchildren, sister Sharon (Pat) Carrey, brother William Fay, special nieces Bea Montgemery, Kathy Wheatly, great niece Toni Henry and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Sonny Fay, sisters Eileen Tomas, Bea Shields, Mary Page, Barb Newkirk.
Wanda was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning. She was always their for her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio was entrusted with the arrangements.
