Vicci Lenora Bauer

Vicci L. “Butchie” Bauer, 54 of Prospect passed away on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at Marion General Hospital of an apparent heart attack, her death was unexpected. Vicci was born August 22, 1968 in Marion to Clyde Ross Johnson who survives in Louisiana and Betty Lee (Fosnaugh) Fogle of Ostrander, OH. She is also survived by her step father Michael Fogle; daughters Erin “Dani” Carpenter of Marion and Macie McKensey of Maryland; grandchildren Brayden, Brexton, Boston, and Isla; sister Carla Johnson of Columbus; step brothers Joseph (Candy) Carpenter of Prospect and Donnie Carpenter of Marion; nieces Bryanna DePriest of Columbus, Desiree (DePriest) Owens of Marion, and Johnna Lewis of Marion; nephew Corey Carpenter of Prospect; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Vicci formerly worked as a Manager at McDonalds in various area locations. She currently was working in home health care. Vicci attended Marion Harding High School and Tri-Rivers. She enjoyed yard sales and antiques as well as camping and being outdoors. Vicci loved taking care of kids and helping others and being around people to make them laugh and bring up their moods. She was a big jokester with a big heart who always thought of others before herself. Most of all Vicci loved her grandkids and took great pride in them.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday October 1, 2022 from 2:00 until 5:00 pm at 206 Clinton St. in Marion. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.cremationservicesofohio.com and Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
