Vance W. Potter, age 52 of Marion passed away December 11, 2019. Vance was born March 8, 1967 to James W. Potter and Judy (Potter) Smith. He married Korene Ballard on November 5, 1994. They shared 25 years together.
Vance was a gun enthusiast and an avid outdoors person. He loved to target shoot and fishing. He was employed by Union Tank Car.
Vance will be remembered by his wife Korene, his mother Judy(Merle) Smith, sons Zach (Candice) Potter of Texas, Andrew (Brittany) Potter of Tennessee, grand-daughters Christine and Lennox, brother Douglas Potter of North Carolina. Preceding him in death was his father, James W. Potter, and step-mother Kathy Potter.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 3-7 pm in the American Legion Post 162, 531 Bellefontaine Ave., Marion, Ohio 43302. The Celebration of Life will be held in the upstairs Hall.
Affordable Cremation and Funeral Service of Ohio, Marion Ohio is honored to be serving his family.
