Tonya Sue May, 49 of Bucyrus went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 2nd, 2016. She courageously fought a lung disease that was slowly taking her life with a positive attitude and a smile on her face, she fought each battle. Her struggle is over and she no longer has to fight for each breath.
Tonya was born April 29, 1966 in Marion to the late Teddy Lewis and Carol (Clarkston) Bigler who survives. She was married Jan. 19, 1990 to Charles May Jr. of Bucyrus. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by step father Thomas Bigler; daughters Karly Ann (James) Kleman, Carey and Evelyn May of Bucyrus; grandchildren Daemion, Bailee, Sophia, and Jaycee; mother in law Evelyn May of Brokensword; half brother Theodore Lewis, Galion; half sister Rebakah Lewis of Iberia; brother in law Steven (Sandra) May, Bucyrus and sister in law Bonnie (Robert) Baum, Bucyrus; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by father in law Charles May Sr.
Tonya was a homemaker and lived her entire life in this area. She enjoyed crocheting, facebook, reading, and her pet dog “Rascal”
