Timothy (Tim) B. Shoewalter passed away unexpectedly Monday February 21, 2022 at his home.
He was the second born son of the late Earl and Betty (Lane) Shoewalter, born October 4, 1947 at Galion Hospital.
In 1965, he graduated from Mt. Gilead High School and was promptly drafted into the military three years later, where he served his counrty in the US Army Special Forces as a Green Beret. Tim was very proud of how hard he worked to become a member of the Special Forces, earning several medals as a Sharpshooter, until his honorable discharge in 1972.
In 1984 he married his wife Mary (Bumgartner) Shoewalter, gaining a daughter, Jamie Cooper. Tim and Mary have been married 37 years, enjoying golf, antiques and travel.
Tim is survived by his wife Mary, step-daughter Jamie, neice Lisa Berger (Shoewalter), nephew Bret Shoewalter and countless neices, nephews and close life long friends.
