Thomas Lehner

Thomas E. Lehner Sr., 84 of Marion passed away on Monday May 16, 2022 at home. Thomas was born June 12, 1937 in Marion to the late Carl H. and Frances Eileen (Wentz) Lehner. He was married June 20, 1959 to Judy (Walker) Lehner who preceded him in death in 1996. He was also formerly married to Sandra Lehner who survives in Tiffin. In addition to his wife Judy and parents, he was preceded in death by grandson Aaron Charles McKelvy and sisters Patricia and Linda.

Thomas is survived by children Steven (Lucille) Lehner of Mt. Gilead, Debra Sue (Todd) Chapman, David (Julie) Lehner, Jennifer Shifflet, and Thomas (Rhonda) Lehner all of Marion; grandchildren Chase (Karissa), Joey (Deniz), Jacob, Zachary (Geena Smith), Nicholas (Emma), Olivia, Jordan (Rick Durham), Lindsey (Kyle Rudd), Connor, and Logan; great grandchildren Aleah, Jalyn, Parker, Sophia, Lincoln, Ellie, and Charlie Dawn.

Thomas graduated from Claridon High School in 1955 and retired from Marion Power Shovel. Following retirement, he worked at Brush Ridge Cemetery. Thomas enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, Browns and OSU sports. He also enjoyed doing jigsaw and sudoku puzzles.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Caledonia Cemetery for the family. The staff of Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
