Pastor Terry G. Cudd, 73 of Caledonia went to be with the Lord he loved on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at his home. Terry was born May 20, 1944 in Marion to the late Robert Dale and Phyllis Ann (Tierney) Cudd. He was married March 26, 1971 to Pamela Deanne (Brutchey) Cudd who survives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter Candace Ann (Cudd) Lindsay as well as twin brother Tommy Dale Cudd and sister Linda Lou Cudd Russell; granddaughter Kristal Nichole Pen’a
Pastor Terry is also survived by children Terri Lynn Cudd (Billy) Brake of S. Carolina; Julie Ann Cudd (Larry) Hoffman of Marion; Kimberly Gale Cudd (Mike) Smith of Morral; and Angela Davis Pifer of PA.; grandchildren Melissa Lynn Cudd Stewart, Jesse Terrance Pfeiffer, Jenna Nicole Pfeiffer, Mackenzie Nichole Smith, Colton Ross Hoffman, Tyler and Madison Blood; great grandchildren Triston, Kaleb, Cameron, Joshua, and Jayden; siblings John Thomas (Elaine) Cudd, Debra Rose Cudd (Jack) Smith, Bruce Kendall (Lisa) Cudd, and Lori Ann Cudd Grant; and many nieces and nephews who he loved.
Terry was Pastor of the Caledonia Baptist Temple for nearly 38 years and retired from Whirlpool after 31 years in 2000. He was a graduate of Harding High School in 1962 and the Liberty Bible Baptist College in Lynchburg, VA. While in High School Terry was active in weight lifting, baseball, and football. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Terry was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and O.S.U. Buckeyes. Following retirement he enjoyed golfing. Most of all, Terry’s life was the Lord and he was the very best husband, father, and grandfather, as well as leading many to the Lord.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in the Caledonia Baptist Temple, 1307 Caledonia Ashley Road North, with Rev. Floyd Radabaugh officiating, burial will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 2:00 – 6:00 pm.
