Terry L Arnett Sr.

Terry L. Arnett Sr., 72, most recently of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday May 15,
2024 at Altercare of Bucyrus following a lengthy illness.  Terry was born July 4, 1951 in
Piqua, OH to the late Thomas Henry Arnett and Elsie Irene Trissel.  In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers. Also preceding him was his partner of
20 years, Julia Maynard.
Terry is survived by children Terry Lee (Aneda) Arnett Jr. of Galion, Jamie Shaw of
Columbus, Elsie Irene (Travis) Hunt of Westerville, and William Arnett of Mansfield;
grandchildren to include Cheyenne and Ava Arnett(Terry’s), Christian, Tylar, Gavin, and
Baylee Hunt(Elsie’s), Hayley, Kelsey and Emily (Jamie’s); several great grandchildren;
and sister Margaret “Peggy” Arnett of Columbus.
Terry was a Master Welder and worked for Central Ohio Welding (COW Industries) for
29 ½ years.  He lived most of his life in Columbus and moved to Mansfield 5 years ago
to be near his sons.  Terry enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, collecting, and buying
and selling antiques.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on May 18, 2024 at 12 pm in the Lower Lights
Christian Church, 1066 Bellows Ave., Columbus with Pastor Daryl Miller officiating.
Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
