Sunshine Marie Risner Miller, age 43 of Marion, OH passed away September 4, 2023, at her home. She was born August 13, 1980, to Marshall Risner and Lucinda Large Risner in Marion.
Sunshine was preceded in death by the love of her life Ronald Miller. They were married June 1, 2000. They had 2 daughters and 1 son together: Kristyn Mae Miller (known as Zona Irene Marlia), Skylar Eugene Miller (known as Frankie Eugene Bessler), and Sara Marie Miller (known as Sarah Josie Bessler). Sunshine had 1 sister Mary Elizabeth II Miller, 1 brother Charles “Chucky” (Shannon) Cornelius, Grandmother Mary Elizabeth Large, aunts and uncles: Eddie (Barb) Large, Robert (Linda) Large, Doug (Cheryl) Large, J.R. (Diane) Large, Clifford (Barb) Risner, Tony Risner, Melvin Risner, Ellen (Butch) Patton, Ida (Tim) Murrell, Reva (Chat) Murrell, Till B (Jr.) (Grace) Risner, many cousins: Jason Risner, Tammy Stanley, Misty Black, Chris Risner, Melrin Risner Jr., Abby Workman, Tony Risner Jr., Wendy Murrell, Dustin Murrell, Madeline Patton, Allen Murrell, Marie Parish, Shawn Risner, Ashley Risner, Eddie Large Jr., Eric Large, Olero Large, Robbie Large, Johnny Large, Cayla, Chelsa, Doug Large Jr., Jeffery Lars, Tammie, and Kari.
Sunshine was preceded in death by her grandparents, Zona Risner, Till Risner, and Harold Eugene Large, Aunt Madeline Stanley, brother Brian Keith Large Risner, nephew Brian Keith Miller, cousins: Timmy Murrell, AJ Patton, and Heather Risner.
Sunshine loved to draw and paint. She loved watching her great nephew and great niece. Sunshine enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. She loved living with her sister Mary and they did everything together. Sunshine loved to shop and was a good babysitter. Everyone loved her, including her 2 best friends: Renee Corona and Chris Cochran.
"I miss you when something really good happens, because you’re the one I want to share it with. I miss you when something is troubling me, because you’re the one who understands me so well. I miss you when I laugh and cry, because you’re the one that makes my laughter grow, and my tears disappear. I miss you all the time, but I miss you most when I lay awake at night, and I think of all the wonderful times we spent with each other, for those were some of the best and most memorable times of my life. I just miss you."
Family and friends will be received Oct. 7, 2023, from 4-7 pm at 1856 Marion Williamsport Rd. E, Marion, OH 43302. All are welcome to attend. Please bring a dish to share as well as stories to tell about Sunshine.
