Skid Charles Thomason

Skid Charles Thomason Sr. age 72 of Cardington, passed from Covid on Novemeber 24, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. He was born on June 17, 1949 in Trenton, MI to Charles Dathiemal and Lillian (Standen) Thomason. He married Cathy Wood on September 18, 1987.
Skid is survived by his wife Cathy, son Skid Charles Thomason Jr., daughters Kathlyn Michelle Thomason/Kinkel, Kelly Ann Thomason, Christina Noel Thomason, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a brother and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Skid graduated from Gahr High School in Cerritos, CA. He was a US Army Veteran and served in Vietnam receiving the Bronze Star for Valor. Skid was a mechanic with LAMTA and Cota Bus Company at the director level.
Skid was a true success because he helped others be successful. He was a strong man that made time for family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on January 22, 2022 at 2pm at the American Legion Hall Post 171, 393 E. College Westerville, OH 43081. Online condolences may be sent to www.cremationservicesofohio.com Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio was honored to serve Skid’s family.
