Scott Allen Hackworth

Scott Allen Hackworth, age 59, passed away at home March 8, 2025. Scott was born to the late Griffith Hackworth and Evelyn (Butler) Hall July 21, 1965 in Ironton Ohio. Scott is preceded in death by: his parents; son, Matthew Shane Bell and; sister, Ruth (Earl) Ann McCall.
Scott is survived by children, Christopher Hackworth, Kyle Hackworth, Ciara (James) Spradlin, and Lucas Hackworth; stepchildren, Maegan (Jake) Wages and William (Kimberly) Rives; former spouse, Marian Beatrice; brother, Roger (Theresa) Lucas; as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Scott was into carpentry most of his adult life, though he hadn’t been very active these last several years as he had battled with long term illness. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping, fishing, lifting weights, finding treasures at garage sales, thrifting, or just always looking for a good deal. He was always willing to give a helping hand and making friends came easy. Scotty will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
