Sally (Kahley) Motter age 78 of Kenton, died at Marion General Hospital on Jan. 19, 2021. She was born on May 2, 1942 to the late Malcolm Davis and Katherine (Kahley) Simpson. She married Marion E. “Bud” Motter on Sept. 29, 1962, he preceded her in death on November 1, 2014.
Surviving are daughters Beverly (Thomas Sr.) Curl, Bellefontaine and Tammy Vires, Kenton, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a brother David Davis and a sister Sheryl Kenney. She is preceded in death by a son-in-law Rick Vires, sisters Susan Davis and Nora Blecher.
Sally attended the House of Prayer Pentecostal Church of God in Kenton. She had worked for 35 years in the kitchen at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton.
Sally enjoyed watching John Wayne and westerns on her TV. She loved her companion dog Buttercup, whom she was completely devoted to.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Grove Cemetery in Kenton. Memorial contributions may be made to Universal Home Health & Hospice 914 E. Columbus St.
