Roy E. Steed age 79 of Marion died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 at his residence. He was born on April 29, 1940 in Ironton to the late George and Sadie (Justice) Steed. He married Linda Dailey and she survives in Marion.
He is survived by 3 sons Jim (Sharon) Elkins, Columbus, Mark (Joni) Steed, Columbus, Rick (Dejah) Steed, Marion, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a brother Bob (Barb) Steed, Marion, and lots of special friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Mr. Steed was a welder/fabricator and enjoyed building cars and hot rods, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
