Ronald L Lucas

Ronald L. Lucas age 69 of Marion, died Thurs. June 8, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born July 14, 1947 in Marion to the late Jesse & Mary M (Black) Lucas. He married Crystal Cox on March 21, 1992, and she survives in Marion.
Mr. Lucas is survived by three daughters Staci Marinez, NC, Morgan (James Manuel) Lucas, TX, Megan Lucas, Marion, one son Daniel Lucas, AZ, 3 grandchildren Tahlia Marinz, VA, Kamran Manuel, TX, Kamilah Manuel, TX, 2 sisters Wanda Walker, Marion, and Cecilia Fryson, Marion.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and had retired from Whirlpool. He enjoyed gardening, antiquing, music, and was a big part of raising his children.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Nicolas Worden officiating. Military rites will follow and be conducted by Marion County Veterans Guard. Family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Grace Baptist Church.
