Ronald E. Bowers age 80, of Marion died at his residence on Aug. 10, 2019. He was born on July 22, 1939 in Marion to the late Herman and Aldeen (Patterson) Bowers. On Aug. 31, 1971 he married Jacqueline Skatzes, she survives in Marion along with children Christina (David) Winn, Cheryl Graham, Bud (Sandy) Graham, all of Marion, 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 step-brothers and a step-sister. He is preceded in death by a brother.
Mr. Bowers was of the Jehovah Witness Faith.
He was a forklift driver at Whirlpool.
Mr. Bowers belonged to a Marion Ostomy Group, he enjoyed wood working, OSU Football, Flea Markets, camping, fishing, he collected Corning Ware and he studied for meetings at Kingdom Hall.
