Rodney Rick Schwartz, 75, of Galion passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Signature Healthcare of Galion.
He was born on November 22, 1944 in Hendricks, Minnesota. He is the son of the late Richard and Esther (Sand) Schwartz.
Rick graduated in 1963 from Galion High School. He served in the United States Army from October 1969 to October 1971.
He is survived by his sons, Scott (Cindy) Schwartz of Alexander, New York and Steve Schwartz of Mansfield; his grandchildren, three granddaughters, two grandsons, and two great grandsons; brothers, Donald (Sherry) of Sparks, Nevada, and Richard (Gerry) of Bucyrus, Ohio; sisters, Sharon (John) Agin of North Robinson, Ohio, Donna (Terry) Sewell of Independence, Kansas; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Vikki Lynn Schwartz.
At his request, no formal services will be observed.
