Robert Eugene Retterer Jr.

Robert “Bob” Eugene Retterer Jr., age 85, passed away at home peacefully, January 13, 2024. Bob was born to the late Robert Eugene Retterer Sr. and Virginia (Palmer) Retterer March 30, 1938 in Marion Ohio. Robert married the love of his life, Sharon (Cooper) Retterer who survives, and they’ve been together 57 years. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Retterer.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon Retterer; son, John Jacob (Jamie) Retterer; brother, Steven (Betty) Retterer; sister, Jodi (Mike) Griffith; grandchildren, Korey and Jared (Heaven); and great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Titus.
Bob worked for several years at TODCO Door company as a supervisor. He loved the outdoors, whether it be fishing or bird watching, he enjoyed it all. He lived a very private life, but those that knew him, knew him well.
There will be no services at this time, he will be laid to rest at Claridon Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.cremationservicesofohio.com
