Robert Joseph Link, 75 of Cardington, OH passed away on Saturday September 7, 2024, at Marion General Hospital following an extended illness. Robert was born December 24, 1948, in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Walter and Lois Link.

Robert is survived by daughters: Kimberly (Mark) Miller of Wetumpka, Alabama and Christy Carson of Cardington; their mother Carole Eblin of Arizona; grandchildren Branden, Zachery (Reyna), Alexis, Justin, and Travis; great grandchildren Owen and Jack; sister Nancy (Patrick) Palumbo of Westerville, OH; niece Danielle, nephew Dominic, and their spouses and children; as well as Roberts companion, his pet dog “Buckeye”

Robert grew up in McDonald Ohio and moved to Westerville, OH where he graduated from Westerville High School in 1967. Robert Joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Ellsworth Air Force Base. He worked for over 40 years for the former Ohio Bell and retired in 2013. 

Robert was a golfer and enjoyed water skiing and boating, warmer climates, vacations, and was a fan of the O.S.U. Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns, and the Indians.

A Celebration of Life gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday September 13, 2024 at Robert’s daughter’s home, 3316 Co. Rd. 168, Cardington beginning at 4:00 pm. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting with arrangements and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.cremationservicesofohio.com.
