Robert Lonzo Blevins

Robert Lonzo Blevins, 70 of Marion passed away on Sunday November 6, 2022 at home. Robert was born January 19, 1952 in Greenup, KY to the late Eli Blevins and Louise (Akers) Blevins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by former wife Penny McCarty; 1 grandchild; 2 great grandchildren, brothers Gene, Denny, Troy, and James; sister Linda Huggins and her husband Terry.

Robert is survived by his significant other Connie Blevins; children Robert (Charlotte) Blevins, Don (Tammy) Blevins, and Tina Blevins all of Marion; 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; brothers Clinton (Roberta) Blevins and Donnie Blevins; sisters Kathy (Larry) Brown, Kay (Rev. James) McIntire, and Connie Lanthron; sister-in-law Peggy Blevins; aunts Jessie Terry and Charlotte White; uncle Larry Akers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert lived most of his life in Marion and last worked at Morning View Nursing Home. He had previously worked at Overhead Doors. Robert enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and country music.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 3:00 pm in the Lighthouse of Prayer, 788 N. Main St. Marion with Pastor Denver Combs officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Cancer Research.
