Dick worked construction jobs most of his life, most recently with BKM construction and was
proud to point out his past work. He enjoyed visiting the Amish, counting turtles at the river, and
shootin’ the loop. He loved bringing the grandkids along to mow with him and teaching them to
make his famous noodles. Dick was typically the comedian, and instigator and would sometimes
make himself laugh so hard he couldn’t get his own joke out. It was nothing but smiles and
laughter when he was around. He appreciated the simple things in life, like watching the storms,
spotting birds and wildlife, looking at the moon, and just being surrounded by his family. He
taught many valuable lessons that his family will cherish forever. To know him was to love him.
