Richard Donald Terry

Richard Donald Terry, 60 of Marion passed away on Saturday June 4, 2016 at 5:40 am at the James Cancer Center, Columbus. Richard was born Aug. 6, 1955 in Greenup, KY to John and Jessie (Akers) Terry who survive in Marion. He was married May 24, 1986 to Beverly (Moore) Terry who also survives in Marion.
Richard is survived by children Tina Terry-Wilson of Big Island, Shawn Terry, Jaime Courtney, David Luyster Jr. and Laura Pineda all of Marion; grandchildren Zachary and Colton Wilson, Dustin, Christopher and Shawna Terry, Ryan and Kaitlyn McCurry, Sarah Samples, Antonio, Elena and Demarkis Pineda; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Richard attended Marion Harding School and worked at Todco Overhead Door Co. in Marion for over 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and was a baseball fan of the Cincinnati Reds, the Cleveland Browns football team, and OSU.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Marion Enterprise Baptist Church with Pastor James McIntire officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until the time of service. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio, 1701 Marion Williamsport Rd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
