Richard H Fairchild

Richard H. Fairchild, age 85 of Marion died Thurs. Sept. 29, 2016 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 28, 1931 in Marion to the late Harlen and Mary Thomas Mochel Fairchild. He married Marilyn J. Cardwell on May 1, 1955 and she survives in Marion. Richard is also survived by one daughter, Sue (Kevin) Lytle of Marion, two grandsons, Ryan Lytle and Alex (Tera Simon) Lytle, one great granddaughter, Savannah Lytle, 3 step-great grandchildren, Colten, Damen, and Kaiden, a brother, Jerald (Peggy Wiley) Fairchild of Richwood and a sister, Anna (Richard) Greer of Delaware. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Fairchild and a brother and a sister.
Richard was the owner and operator of Fairchild Sales Inc. in Marion and served in the US Marines. He attended Marion First Church of the Nazarene, was a life member of Moose Lodge #889 in Marion and a member of the Kings Mill Golf Club. He enjoyed golfing and playing racquetball.
