Rex Allen Hempy

Rex Allen Hempy, age 70, passed away peacefully at home March 12, 2023. Rex was born to the late Frank and Betty (Doyle) Hempy October 6, 1952, in Delaware Ohio. Rex is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dennis “Mike” Hempy and Sky Robert Hempy.
Rex is survived by brother, William (Shelly) Hempy and sister, Carolyn Van Eck.
Rex was a military veteran who served his time with the Army as a cook. His pride and joy in life was his 28’ Chevy. He would make 2 annual trips a year to Hershey PA just for swap meets and to visit his friends. In his younger years he had enjoyed hunting and fishing. Rex worked for many years at Blue Bird of Delaware and at Whirlpool of Marion where he was in the Tool and Dye department.
