Ray L. Thitoff, 69 of Marion passed away on Sunday evening at home. Ray was born Nov. 14, 1946 to the late Kenneth and Alma Snavely. He was adopted and raised by Pete Thitoff and Durlene (Murphy) Thitoff Garrett who preceded him in death. Ray was married to Betty L. (Jolliff) Thitoff who survives. He is also survived by children Leslie Thitoff and partner Tommy Starner of WV; Ray Thitoff and wife Sharon, Bucyrus; Pete Thitoff and partner Christy Smith of Bucyrus; Paul Rosebrough and wife Barb of Marion; and Michelle Spiegel and husband Ken of Marion; grandchildren Torry (Jessica) Brown, Bucyrus; Travis Powell, Indiana; Toni (Virgil) Thoroughman, Bucyrus; Dustin Thitoff and Devin Thitoff both of Bucyrus; Tony Roberts of Marion; Matt Brown of Richwood and Danelle Brown of Marion; Shaney Adkins of Green Camp; Heather Rosebrough of LaRue; Jordon and Brandon Patrick both of Marion; Peyton, Kameron, and Daniel Spiegel all of Marion; 21 grandchildren; and his dog of 16 years and best friend “Sara”.
Ray had managed Clark Stations and was owner and operator of Ray’s Auto Detailing. He enjoyed Car Club, his children and grandchildren, drinking, pool, pinball, and the computer.
The family suggests that memorials can be made through Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio, 1701 Marion Williamsport Rd., Marion who is assisting the family with arrangements. Private family services will be held in Marion Cemetery at a later date.
