Ray L. Bending

Ray “ Bud” Bending age 81 of Marion passed away at Marion General Hospital on November 29, 2020. He was born on March 30, 1939 in Edison to the late Lester and Mary (Dill) Bending. He married Janice Potts on Mar. 19, 1965 and she survives in Marion, along with sons Lloyd “Gene” (Christi) Bending and Jeff (Christie) Bending, grandchildren, Heath (Whitney) Bending, Parker Bending, Lakan (Zach) Franklin and Paige Bending, great grandchildren Harrison Bending and Sutton Bending and a sister Linda (Chuck) Wilson. He is preceded in death by a brother David Ray Bending.
Mr. Bending serviced in the US Army from 1961-1963. He retired from General Mills as a truck driver after 34 years. He was a member of the Family Life Church, Marion. Mr. Bending enjoyed sports especially the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers and college basketball.
