Randy Blake

Randy K. Blake, 68 of Ashley passed away November 22, 2022, at Woodside Village Nursing

Home surrounded by his family. Born July 20th, 1954, to the late Charles “Junior” and Mary "Irene"

(Brawley) Blake of Reedsville, OH.

Randy was an avid outdoorsman. Loved spending time in the woods, hunting or camping, or

sitting on the riverbank with his family, especially with his son Bill. Randy was also a huge fan

of the Atlanta Braves baseball team and rooted for the team up North.

Randy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary (Henderson) Blake, his daughter Christina

(James) Payne and his son William “Bill” (Mandy) Blake all from Ashley.

Randy loved and adored his grandchildren, and the time he spent with them. Those left behind to

keep his memory alive are, Jorden (Jodi) Payne of Marengo, Leah and her son Tannor

McDonnell. Brooklynn, Nova, Damien Blake all of Ashley, and Zane Nageotte of Delaware.

Randy is also survived by his sisters, Debbie (Bob) Estep of Belpre, OH. Pennie Blake and Peggy

Belcher also from Ashley, as well as two additional sisters and a brother, plus many nieces and

nephews who called him "Bo".

Proceeding him in death are his parents Charles and Irene Blake and a sister, Sandra "Sandy"

Landes formerly of Reedsville.

At the request of Randy, there will be no funeral or celebration of life. His wishes were to be

cremated, and kept until Mary joined him, then given to the kids. At which point they would

decide what is appropriate.
