Ralph Arthur Rigby

Ralph Arthur Rigby, age 74, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by family on November 18, 2024. Ralph was born to the late Robert and Martha (Fairbanks) Rigby February 12, 1950, in Salem, Ohio. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents.

Ralph is survived by daughters, Michelle (William) Russell, Lori (Jayson) Mawer, Stacie (Jim) Evans; brother, Richard (Joyce) Rigby, 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Ralph enjoyed watching the Christian Channel and the Waltons. He worked for 13 years at Marion Power Shovel as a painter and for Todco Doors for a short period after the shovel. He loved driving his 2012 Camero, he traveled everywhere in it; he had logged 75k miles in his first two years of owning it. Ralph loved finding garage sale deals, flea markets, model cars, and baseball, he loved watching the Cincinnati Reds play. One of his favorite meals was BBQ ribs, he even said the first thing he was going to do in heaven was eat a healthy plate of ribs. He loved his daughter’s dog Tobie and will be deeply missed by the family.

There will be a service at a later date. Memorials may be made through the funeral home. Moments of remembrance may be left online.
