Phyllis Elaine Noggle

Phyllis Elaine Noggle, 80 of Caledonia, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Friday November 29, 2024, her death was unexpected of an apparent heart attack. Phyllis was born Sept. 18, 1944, in Marion to the late Ralph and Anna (Oiler) Baer. She was married August 31, 1963, to Teddy Noggle who survives. She is also survived by 5 children: Tim (Vicki) Noggle, Heidi Benson, Wayne (Cindy) Noggle, Tonya (Joe) Ralph, and Amy Boyd; grandchildren: Polly Basinger, Shasta (Josh) Crosby, Amber Spicer, David (Theresa) Friar, Tiffany (Matt) Spaulding, Tara Benson, Ashley (Brian) Moore, Krista (Brandon Jones) Titus, Clayton (Mickeli) Noggle, Ariel (Randy Hardee Jr.) Ralph, Chelsie (Matt LaVally) Ralph, Dustin (Mya) Ralph, Aron (Harlee) Noggle, Michael (James) Linscott-Hill, Sierra (Kyle) Jones, Justen (Bethanny) Easterday; great grandchildren: Serenity, Cody, and Clark Basinger, Austin Huffine, Conner Spicer Jones, Alavna Spicer, Keaton Halloway, Emberly Helman, Dillon (Katelyn) Foltz, Brandon Friar, Hayden Foltz, Blake Hamby, McAlaih and Brycen Spaulding, Bryden and Bentley Moore, Kensley, Izabelle, and Caroline Titus, Kylie, Lauren, and Natalie Mason, Ryann, Blakley, and Van Hardee, Lydia, Allie, and Olivia LaValley, Willow Fetter, Tanner Ralph, Amber, Peyton, and Paxton Noggle, Chad Holt, Phoenix Noggle, Kyrian Holt, Elena Price, Preston Hunt, Leham Jones, Paisleigh Jones, and Declan Easterday; great-great grandchildren: Stetson and Wren Foltz, and Skylynn Spaulding; brother Gary (Shirley) Baer, sisters Betty Anthony, Mary (Don) Moorman, Lois Squires, brothers-in-law: Bob Makeever and Bob (Dixie) Noggle; sister-in-law Shirley Baer; and many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by grandchild Stacy Noggle, son-in-law John Benson, brother Jack Baer, sisters-in-law: Mary Finley and Betty Makeever, and father and mother-in-law Robert and Mabel Noggle.

Phyllis was formerly the owner of Family Florist and Phyllis’s Country Corner in Caledonia. She loved God and was very active in Church-playing piano, serving as choir director, and preaching from the pulpit. She was part of 2 local food pantries and helped everyone. Phyllis enjoyed sewing, crafts, flower arranging and gardening, and most of all she loved her family.

A verse summing up her life would be Mark 9:35, “To be first I must be last and a servant to all”

A Celebration of Life Gathering and Service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 12-2 pm at the Denmark Friendship Church, 2069 State Route 95 Edison, OH 43320. Following the service will be a fellowship time from 2-6 pm at the Steve Young FOP Lodge 5327 Harding Hwy. E Caledonia, OH 43314. The family suggests memorials be in the form of contributions to T.V. Channel 39 in Marion or to Denmark Friendship Church in Edison, Ohio. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
