Phyllis A Mollett, age 68 of Marion, OH passed away Oct. 21, 2023, at Embassy of Marion. She was born Sept. 12, 1956, to the late Monroe Mead and Joan Watson Mead in Kenton, OH. Phyllis married Jim Mollett who preceded her in death.
Phyllis is survived by son Aaron (Angela) Mollett of Marion, boyfriend of 13 years Chris Arthur of Marion, 2 grandchildren: Aubri and AJ Mollett of Marion, siblings: Ron Meade, Tim Meade, Greg Meade, Zack Meade, Joann Magann, and Carol Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings.
Phyllis graduated from Hardin Northern High School, was a Dietary Tech. for the Smith Clinic, and an office manager for PJ’s Heating and Cooling. She volunteered for the former Lion’s Club in Marion, was a member of the Moose Lodge in Marion, enjoyed crafts, spending time with dog companions Chico and Nova, and being an Ohio State University Buckeyes’ fan.
Phyllis was a loving grandmother, very proud of her grandchildren. During the Holidays, she enjoyed making hard tack candy, fudge, and cookies. The sunflower was her favorite flower, and she always had a Coke in the refrigerator to share. She will be dearly missed.
