Peggy L Gwinner

It is with a loving heart that we announce the passing of our one and only mom, grandma, companion, friend, and unlicensed therapist with a smile, Peggy L Gwinner (Clark). She was born in Marion, OH, in 1948 to George and Donna Clark, both deceased. She married Jon C Gwinner in 1968, spending time traveling the U.S., before having their kids, Maria E Noakes (Gwinner) and Jon A C Gwinner. Although they transitioned apart, Jon has remained dedicated to the family, and we will forever be grateful for all the love, support, kindness, and “out of his comfort zone moments” he provided these past 2 years.

Peggy’s selflessness was a defining trait, as she always put everyone and everything above herself. She devoted precious time to her children and grandchildren: Isabella Noakes, Jacob Noakes, and Madalyn Gwinner. Some of the best years of her life were spent playing with her grandkids and watching them grow into the beautiful young adults and teens they are today.

She lived a life of service to others, dedicated to her job until the end. We are deeply grateful for all the love, support, and kindness her Head Start family and friends provided during this difficult time.

We wanted to announce her passing, as Peggy has touched the lives of many. However, there will be a private ceremony at the ocean, where she will take flight one last time and join the dolphins, always keeping watch over us.
