Paul Edward Gattshall Jr. 62, of Crestline, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born April 20, 1956 in Marion to the late Paul Edward Gattshall Sr. and Myrtle (Baer) Gattshall.
Paul is survived by his wife Michelle (Freeman) and his children, Joshua Gattshall, Robert Gattshall, Michelle Hardie, Dakota Gattshall, Wyatt Gattshall, and Makenzie Gattshall. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter, Mattea Gattshall.
Paul graduated from Marion Harding High School and after graduation served in the United States Air Force. After returning from the Air Force, he worked for Marion Bronze and Magna Cast doing foundry work. He also had a passion for law enforcement, working with several law enforcement agencies over the years. He was an avid trap shooter, loved to fish and hunt, and was a history buff. He enjoyed watching television shows including the History channel and Andy Griffith. Most of all, he loved his family and his home. He was an amazing husband, father and friend who will be dearly missed.
