Paul Eugene Douglas

Paul Eugene Douglas, Sr., 69 of Marion passed away at 8:24 am Friday Nov. 13, 2015 at his home. Paul was born Nov. 29, 1945 in Richwood to the late Gilbert Lester and Norma Jean (Wolford) Douglas. Paul was married Jan. 28, 1965 to Barbara (Broughton) Douglas who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son John Eugene Douglas; great grandson Michael Keeney III, and grandparents Buck Isadore and Fredia Douglas.
Paul is also survived by children Patricia (James) Blevins, Marion; Paula Ann (Steven Harless) Douglas, Marion; Tami Sue Pickens of St. Petersburg, FL; and Paul (Shirley) Douglas II of St. Petersburg; grandchildren Amanda, James Paul, Jo Anna, Zackery, Ashley, Gilbert, Dustin, Stormy, John Paul, Jessica and Michael; numerous great grandchildren; brothers Larry, Jerry, Joe, and Ed Douglas all of Marion; sister Jean Vincent of Richwood; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul last worked construction in the area for 20 years. Prior to construction, Paul worked at Marble Cast for 10 years and Web’s Plastic for 10 years, both in Richwood. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, and he loved to have parties.
Viewing and Visitation will be held on Wednesday Nov. 18, 2015 from 11:00 until 1:00 in the Chapel at Chapel Heights Cemetery, 2622 Marion Upper Sandusky Rd. Burial will follow visitation at Brush Ridge Cemetery. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio (Pirnstill Funeral Services) 1701 Marion Williamsport Rd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
