Normald L. Knipp

Normald Lee Knipp age 68, of Marion, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020
as a result of a long-time illness.

Norm was born December 28, 1951 in Ironton, the son of the late Cyrus and Sophie (Rose) Knipp. He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Childress) Knipp, two daughters, Chastity French, and Kimberly (Michael) Hallstead and step-daughter Krissy Fishel. Grandchildren are Harley (Erica) French, Trynity French, Earl French, Mason French, Alexis French, and Jesse Hallstead, and great-grandchildren Alice French and Amias Manley. Siblings; Ida Freeman, Betty Bloomfield, Minnie Bloomfield, Audrey Bloomfield, Albert Knipp and Gene Knipp. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Clinton Knipp.

Norm was a dedicated family man and avid outdoorsman. Norm love to hunt and fish. His job at Arrow Head Elementary School brought Norm such joy as he loved being around children and the children loved him. Norm was a jack-of-all trades and would do anything to help anyone in need.



Visitation will be held Saturday December 19, 2020 from 10am-11am at Marion Enterprise Baptist Church 130 Orton St. Marion, OH 43302. A funeral service will begin at 11am with Pastor Jim McEntire officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice, 800 McConnell Dr. Columbus, OH 43214.
