Nicholas J Yeager

Nicholas J. Yeager, 66 of Marion and formerly of Columbus passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2024, at Marion General Hospital following an extended illness. Nicholas was born August 4, 1958, in Columbus to the late Nicholas J. Yeager Sr. and Mary (Kelley) Snyder. He was married May 22, 1998, to Lori (Livingston) Yeager who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Patti and Barbara.

Nicholas is also survived by daughter Sarah Yeager of Marion; brothers Michael and Thomas; sisters Martha McGregor and Mary Jane Neal; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Nicholas worked for 10 years doing security work for Smith Security and in the more recent years was a forklift operator in warehouses. He graduated from Grandview High School in 1976 and moved to Marion, OH from Columbus in 2019. Nicholas never met a stranger, be it friend or family. He was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cleveland Browns third. Nicholas was also a fan of the OSU Buckeyes and enjoyed playing baseball on his PlayStation.
