Nancy K Melendez

Nancy K Melendez, age 83 of Marion, OH passed away February 7, 2025, at Marion General Hospital. She was born September 15, 1941, to the late Paul and Betty (Holtzbery) Chandler in Marion. 

Nancy is survived by daughters: Debra Neel of Jacksonville, OH and Darla (Joseph) Friend of Howard, OH, grandchildren: Dustin Kribbs, Daniel Stier, and Jennifer Friend, 7 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and sister Carol Giles of Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Gruber, grandson Joey Friend, 1 great-grandchild, and sister Linda Berry.

Nancy loved taking care of her home and collected pig figurines. She adored her grandkids and spending time with family. Nancy was somewhat shy and private, but had a great heart. She will be dearly missed.
