Mimpsi Ann (Poe) Hamilton, 50 of Marion passed away on Sunday February 23, 2020 at Marion General Hospital. Mimpsi was born December 25, 1969 in Marion to Cecil and Cressie (Zwolle) Poe who survive in Marion. She was preceded in death by husband Darrell Hamilton in 2009.
Mimpsi is also survived by children Amber (Meghan) Coleman; Johnathan (Ashley) Hamilton; and Elizabeth Hamilton all of Marion; grandchildren Shiloh, Harmony, Skilynn, Nakota, Junior, Trevona, Skarlett, Darrell, and baby Johnathan; her longtime companion Lee Sturgeon; 2 sisters Dawn (Eric) Thien of Marion and Fay (Bruce) Poe of Georgia.
Mimpsi was a homemaker and lived her entire life in Marion. She graduated from North Union H.S. in 1988 and enjoyed coloring but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
