Michael F Garner, age 74 of Mt. Gilead, Ohio passed away Dec. 10, 2022, at his home. He was born Feb. 12, 1948, to the late James Robert Garner and Arlene Katherine Willy in Marion, Ohio. Michael married Carol May Garner Feb. 22, 1970.
Michael is survived by: his wife, 2 sons: Robert (Susan Shavely) Garner and Chad (Star Sheriff) Garner, grandchildren: Michael, Annabelle, Greg, Anthony, Ariel, Courtney, and Jimmy, great-grandchildren: Christopher, Erika, Zander, Chad, Raina, Alice, Aleyah, Caden, and Bentley, 4 brothers: James Lingrel, Raymond Garner, Paul Garner, and Richard Garner, and a sister Pam Ludwig. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Bill Lingrel.
Michael worked at Marion Power Shovel for 27 years; he retired from Whirlpool. Michael enjoyed fishing, playing disc golf, and was a collector of model cars.
