Michael D. Collins

Michael D. Collins age 58 of Marion, died on Mar. 15, 2020 at Marion General Hospital. He was born Jan. 26, 1962 in Martin, KY to the late Albert Meachem and Rose Ann (Howell) Meachem, his mother survives. He is survived by his children Natasha Collins, Mandy Collins, Michael Collins, Makayla Collins, Stephanie Collins, Nathaniel Collins and 9 grandchildren, siblings Judy Gaylek, Don Meachem, Shirley Frasure, Barb Meachem, Sue Meachem, Rick Meachem, Becky English, Deborah Smith, Terry Meachem, Joe Meachem and Lenny Meachem. He is preceded in death by a brother Daniel Meachem. His significant other for 15 years was Suzi Smith Amos.

He was an auto mechanic and also did landscaping work.

Mr. Collins enjoyed working on engines, remodeling his house and he collected antiques.
