Michael E Bennett

Michael E Bennett, age 60 of Marion, OH passed away October 2, 2023, at Marion General Hospital. He was born May 28, 1963, to Doris A Craig Bowman and the late Freddy L Bennett in Marion. Michael was married to Wendy Moorman Bennett March 11, 1984.
Michael is survived by his mother, his wife, son Andrew M Bennett of Marion, many cousins, nephews, and nieces, brother Tim (Linda) Bennett of Morral, sisters: Beverly (John) Tanner of Marion, and Dolly Craig of Marion. He was preceded in death by his father, son Matthew Bennett, and sister Laurie Zelenka.
Michael earned his GED and worked at Timken Corporation in Bucyrus for 16 years. His pride and joy was a 1966 Mustang and loved going to car shows/auctions. Michael was a simple man who enjoyed working on his car and other muscle cars. He loved watching Westerns, football, and Big Bang Theory.
There will be a Celebration of Life October 22, 2023, at American Legion Post 162; 531 Bellefontaine Ave. Marion, OH 43302 at 1:00 pm.
