Mary Linda Steele

Mary Linda Steele, age 77, passed away January 18, 2025 at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky. Born on October 3, 1947, in Nevada, Ohio, Mary was the cherished daughter of the late Noah Keeton Sr. and Alma (Literall) Keeton. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; son, Shawn Stark; sister, Beneda Kennell; and grandchild, Christian Stark

Mary is survived by daughter, Lori Stark; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; brother, Noah Keeton Jr.; sisters, Loreda (Jim) Brown, Anneta (Jim) Loomis, Jaunita Hobby, Donna Mabry, Theresa (Roger) Lucas, and Brenda Keeton.

Mary worked for seventeen years at Whirpool in Marion. While at Whirlpool she went back to school and earned her paralegal degree from Capital University. She then went on to work under different law firms until retirement. In her younger years, she would take family trips to Florida. And in her later years she made Florida her permanent home for 10 years before moving back to where she was born. She loved spending time with her children, and will be missed by all that knew her.
