Marvin Lee Adams, 84, passed away on June 15th, 2024, in Elida, OH.

Marv was born in Mt Vernon, Indiana on December 23rd, 1939.

Marv graduated Mt Vernon Senior High School and attended the United States Air Force Academy.

Marv moved to Perrysburg, Ohio in 1967 where he was a State Farm and Independent Insurance Agent.

Marv was a ranking member of United States Junior Chamber (Jaycees), performed as Worshipful Master of Perrysburg Masonic Lodge, was a Scottish Right Member, Hadi Temple Shriner, Zenobia Shriner, Vice President of Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce, Charter Member of Perrysburg Rotary Club, Member of the Planning Commission of The City of Perrysburg, and was The Former Director of the Ohio Gun Collector Association (OGCA). Marv was a lifelong NRA member and gun history enthusiast. Marv had a knowledgeable passion for the Whitney made Howard's Thunderbolt. He contributed to many gun history publications including the Kelley Blue book, NRA Museum and many more.

Marv moved to Elida, Ohio in 2005 where he served as an Elida Village Councilman from 2005-2012.

Marv married his wife Sue on February 14th, 2012.Marv was a member of Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God in Alger, Ohio.

Marv is survived by Sue Adams (wife), Kristina Watanabe (daughter), DAN THE MAN ADAMS! (son), Bill Legg (stepson), Yoshi Watanabe (grandson), Wayne Adams (brother), Phyllis Jackson (sister) and was preceded in death by Hubert Adams (father), Lucile Adams (Mother), Gary Adams (brother).
