Marie R Goddard

Marie R. Goddard age 84 of Marion, died on Sat. July 31, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. She was born August 10, 1936 in Louden, OH to Dewey R. and Grace M. (Hix) Ames.

Survivng are two sons Nelson Connell, Howard Connell, daughters Becky Burt, Jody Ridenour, Erica (Kevin) Taylor and three sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and eight sisters.

Marie was a member and loved going to church at New Life Christian Center in Lancaster. She was a nursing assistant. Marie enjoyed cooking, traveling and visiting with people. Marie was a giving person and always willing to help. One of her greatest traits was how she made you feel welcomed and glad to see you.
