Margaret Ann Gorrell

Margaret Ann “Maggie” Gorrell, 82 of Marion passed away on Sunday July 28, 2024 at Marion General Hospital. Margaret was born March 30, 1942 in Camp Hill, PA to the late Martin Luther Haverstock and Eleanor Evelyn (Cobaugh) Haverstock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter Teresa Carpenter.

Margaret is survived by daughters Lynne Daniels, Paula (Alan) Batteiger, and Terri Lore; grandchildren Tasha Gorrell, Jessica (David) Adams, and Elizabeth ((Tyler) Ramage; great grandchildren Trever Gorrell, Brianna and Masin Ackerman, Alexis Scribner, Chelsea Gorrell, Ethan Adams, and Cade and Caroline Ramage; great great grandchildren Tegan and Cambree Gorrell, and Aylaya Hanshaw; brothers Jim and John Haverstock; sister Beverly Eslinger; as well as friend of 50 years Cindy Rinker.

Margaret graduated from Marion Harding High School and enjoyed dancing, shopping, going to Perkins for breakfast, and visiting with family and friends. She worked at the former G.C. Murphy’s as an assistant manager, Peerless Cleaners in Marion and All Occasions in Waldo.
